I've noticed that some 4K movies I have that also have the same transfer on a Blu-Ray look different on the 4K and Blu-Ray.
The Blu-Ray looks more saturated, brighter and seems to have more contrast than the 4K. Is this due to the Dolby Vision/HDR? I was under the impression that Dolby Vision/HDR were supposed to improve color saturation, brightness and contrast. I compared the 4K's and Blu-Rays of the Shout Factory Halloween and Back To The Future. |
