Default Trouble finding The Rock and Con-Air @ Best Buy?

I went to BB to see if they had Con-Air and/or The Rock and the salesperson said they never received it. They looked it up on their computer and it showed that one store 50 miles away did. Anyone else having trouble finding them?

They were in stock LAST WEEK at my local BB here on Long Island (NY). They had several on the shelf.

I have the $20 off 3 Blu-Rays coupon. I was going to get The Rock ($24.99), The Fugitive ($15) and Lethal Weapon ($15).

Are The Fugitive and Lethal Weapon good choices?

I arrived at my Best Buy at about 11am today, and they only had 2 copies of each. And 1 copy of Sunshine, 0 copies of Man On Fire, 2 copies of Dragon Wars, and about 12 copies of 3:10 to Yuma.

I couldn't find them either although it was showing as in stock on the computer. Normally, the person will go in the back to look but the person this morning didn't seem to want to do that. So, I just ordered the 3 I couldn't find from Amazon (The Rock, Con Air and Man on Fire). Actually, they didn't have Sunshine out either so I had to go across the street and get it from Circuit City. BB did have 3:10 to Yuma and Dragon Wars out so I got them there. During the holidays they were really good about getting the stock out early (before the store opens) but I guess it'll be a little later now.

I don't know why so many people still shop at best buy...I ordered them from amazon and just got them now. I stop going to best buy not only because they're prices aren't good but I hated going there and not getting what I intended to get if they were sold out or whatever. Besides what I pay in tax at Best buy on for one purchase is what I pay for amazon prime

Newer releases shouldn't be a problem but with these catalog titles it's really hit and miss whether or not the big retailers will have them by their appropriate release date. I remember Mr & Mrs Smith was difficult to find where I'm at but a few weeks later it's all over the place.

i bought con air for $12.12 shipped from deepdiscountdvd. already on its way..will be here by friday.

buy.com using google messed up my order for the movie and deepdiscount dvd was the marketplace seller on their site, so i called them directly and they just went ahead and gave me the same price with no hassle or anything.

Called over and said they had THE ROCK there, so I went and picked it up. Definitely slimmer than the Criterion Edition I got two years ago.

This is my first Disney Blu-Ray, and I have to say I'm really impressed. Not only is the picture quality great, but they also have all the same extras from the Criterion Edition, which is a coup since Criterion owns all the extras they make. Sometimes when a studio releases their own version after a Criterion Edition, they often don't have the extras that make them worthwhile. The only other time I know of a later DVD having all the Criterion extras is with DEAD RINGERS.

I'm on a sick day. Picked up The Rock, just watched it. Lots-a-fun.

Oh I got it from FutureShop at Dundas Square in Toronto. They had plenty... and Conair also.

Cheers

Now to watch Sunshine and (god forbid, not) Dragon Wars... hahaha.
310 to Yuma was not in as yet. Bummer.

Found both The Rock and Con Air at BB in upstate NY.

A few copies of each left, although I did get the last copy of Sunshine...
