I'm guessing in your experience they dropped the price down to 5 Euros per blu-ray before removing the VAT. Then they added the shipping costs. Hence the sub 50 Euros total.
Looking at my invoice Amazon appeared to deduct the VAT (16% instead of 19% for some reason) and then dropped the price down to 5 Euros per blu-ray. I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience. I'm in the US if you're wondering.

i think above 25 euro (or 30 not sure) amazon Germany ships free to Belgium , its our neighbour country.
its the third time i buy stuff with this 10 for 50 deal (they do it few times a year) and it was always around 47-48 euro.

Thanks for the reply. Since you're paying less than the 50 Euros amount they must be lowering the price to 50 (5 per Blu-ray) and then deducting VAT. With me they are deducting VAT and then lowering the amount to 50 Euros. If they did my transaction the same way as yours then that equates to about a 10 Dollar difference for me.

That's what they did with my order as well. Deducted the VAT when I added to the basket, then the necessary amount to bring it down to 50 during final checkout.

Do you think it's worth asking them about? Not so much for the $10. More so for future orders. They have a new sale going on right now. 3 for 15 Euros with 482 titles. The sale is until December 6th.

Great deal it was, only... today got emails saying "You ordered the items below, but the package was returned to us by the carrier. We’ve issued your refund." for both of my packages. Never had this happen before - at any retailer - and have even successfully ordered from Amazon.de in the past (though it has been a few years). There is no clear explanation as to what/why this happened, so ???

I have ordered from Amazon.de many, many times, without issue. I have never written or communicated with them; I don't speak German. But I suppose a lot of them speak English. I would just email and chat with them until they give it to you again at that price. If one says no, just try again with another and let them know how unhappy you are. Be very polite but firm.

Does not Include alot of catalogue titles under 10 euros. The 3 for 2 deal was way better.

The 3 for 2 had a slightly better selection, but I was still able to find ten titles (including Voyage of Time!)

The choices might not be as plentiful, but I still saved over 50% off the total price for ten titles that actually interest me -- including, as was previously mentioned, the longer cut of Terence Malick's Voyage of Time. Ten titles for under $64 shipped to the US is quite the deal.

I'd have to check the versions since there seem to be so many release, but I think the Universum Fistful of Dollars and a Few Dollars More are the better releases. Good, Bad, Ugly as well but I really have a hard time on the preferred transfer of these Leone's
