Coming to USA on Cinemax later this year. Available to stream in UK.
Set in the heart of London, one of the world's most dynamic and multicultural cities, Gangs of London tells the story of the city being torn apart by the turbulent power struggles of the international gangs that control it and the sudden power vacuum that's created when the head of London's most powerful crime family is assassinated. For 20 years, Finn Wallace (Colm Meaney) was the most powerful criminal in London. Billions of pounds flowed through his organization each year. But now he's dead – and nobody knows who ordered the hit. With rivals everywhere, it's up to the impulsive Sean Wallace (Joe Cole), with the help of the Dumani family headed by Ed Dumani (Lucian Msamati) to take his father's place. If the situation wasn't already dangerous enough, Sean's assumption of power causes ripples in the world of international crime within the streets of London, which consists of the Albanian Mafia headed by Luan Dushaj, as well as the Kurdish freedom fighters, Pakistani Drug Cartel, Jamaican Yardies, Chinese Triads, Italian 'Ndrangheta, Welsh travellers, and various other criminal elements. In the middle of this is newcomer Elliot Finch (Sope Dirisu), who appears to be one of life's losers, a lowlife opportunist. Secretly,he is an undercover policeman building a case against the Wallace Family organization, one of the largest criminal organization in London. Written and Directed by Gareth Evans (The RAID 1&2), Starring Joe Cole(Peaky Blinders),Michelle Fairley(Game of Thrones) and Brian Vernel(Last Kingdom) |

I'm skeptical about watching this as it seems just somewhat interesting, but not entirely.
This part made me chuckle: Quote:
U.S. crime/gang shows in my opinion have a better grasp of it whereas this U.K. show is trying to include as much as possible. Sorta like quantity over quality. Sons of Anarchy, Mayans M.C., Narcos, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Sopranos, Ray Donovan, etc were all a lot more creative than just featuring the different types of criminals that'll show up. End of comparison. |

Really enjoyed this, for the most part. It's completely excessive and pretty melodramatic but a hell of a lot of fun and the action sequences are great.

Cinemax leaves original and AMC picks it up as well as renews it for second season while taking on co-production credits. I’ll be interested to see what AMC will be able to show as I’ve heard that this show is ultra violent. |

![]() Walking Dead is not as violent as it use to be like the early season even FTWD was watered compared to season 1-3 because of bunch complains when they brought Negan story. The real sad part about TWD is the lack of language but now it is okay only on Better Call Saul. AMC needs to become like FX Network and I am not sure I am too happy this being on AMC for one there will be ads except if you got their streaming service also how about the Bloody Violence, Language and Sexual scenes does AMC have the balls? I have to say no but still had great TV Series. The only show close to this style of action on AMC was Into The Badlands which had some ultra violence moment I guess it all depends and I said the same about Hannibal being on NBC which I was proven wrong never thought how much a basic network can get away when they can. The first 3 episodes premier on AMC's streaming service on October 1st then the remaining episodes come out weekly thereafter. It's supposed to show up on the network sometime next year.
I've been thinking about just importing the UK blu-ray. Not sure I feel like waiting. https://deadline.com/2020/08/gangs-o...mc-1203007485/ |

Damn was wondering if this was changed to be just exclusive on AMC+ I am sure it is edited a lot graphic violence, some nudity, drug usage and language. Love season finale insanely twisted that's all I will say. I am going to assume we will not see season 2 until 2022 because UK still having lockdowns. |

That’s the correct speed as it was made for British TV so 25p which mearns it has to be 50i on BD. The US broadcasts are slowed to 24p.
Buy a monthly entertainment pass from Now (TV) or you can buy a digital download from Amazon Video, iTunes or Google Play. |
