Default Which player is better and why?

I am going back and fourth between these two players and need help. I just bought the LG 65 C9 and want to upgrade my old LG player. I am deciding between the Panasonic UB820 or the Sony UBP-X1100ES. Which is the better player and what are the pros and cons of the two? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would say the Panasonic DP-UB820 because it has all HDR formats (HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision) and the HDR optimizer which has a perfect tone mapping (for regular HDR10 content only) that would even put the TV's own tone mapping to shame. And one more pro to the Panasonic, you don't have to continuously switching Dolby Vision on/off everytime you watch a disc that either has it or doesn't have it. The only advantage the Sony UBP-X1100ES has over the Panasonic is a somewhat more premium feeling build quality.

CZAR the Sony players from the x800m2 and up are great players and even better when paired with Sony TVs. That being said the Panasonic player paired with your tv will offer you the better experience. The Panasonic processing will give you a better picture on your LG tv over the Sony player.

Well since I'm already here, what's the best multiregion player? Is there a consensus?
