Definitely gonna grab this one. It's such a shame that our new dog is triggered by seeing animals on the screen. She'll just have to deal.

Awesome. I pretty much own every Attenborough documentary series available on DVD/BD/UHD so I'll definitely be seeing (and buying) this ASAP.

Where do you see the december delivery info ? I don't see any release date for UK yet.

Should be great. I own both PE II and BP II so this will be a must buy for me.

The only thing I don't really like about these UHD releases, is that the picture quality varies alot due to the different cameras being used. But that is inevitable ofcourse. Most of the time it looks great though, and ofcourse it is very enjoyable edutainment.

Ours too. We were watching the trailer and he was growling almost from the get go. As soon as that lion started charging he jumped off the couch and tried biting the TV....

I'll be watching this in the pet-free theater room.

Back cover for the UK release. Dolby Atmos.

Be aware that the US release probably will not include the blu-ray discs. Which is unfortunate as the blu-ray feature seems to last 35 minutes longer.

The Blu-ray probably has behind the scenes / making of segments attached to the episodes that are shot by the production in HD, hence the longer runtime.

The Atmos mix in Earth: One Amazing day was pretty good and with all the action that this new release seems to have, I imagine it will be even better.

You don't necessarily have to have "action" to use Atmos. Just the environmental immersion and music can be enough to add to the ambiance.
