I never picked up the Mondo version of this. I wonder if this release will have some of the same bonus features as the Criterion release.

Nice steelbook, but the disc will never live up to the Criterion. And at the end of the day it's about the movie, not the packaging (at least for me)

Unfortunately, this is true. But if this is too wonderful to pass up, I'll probably get it and keep it sealed. Criterion is the definitive version to open and watch.

I like The Pale Man on the Canuck cover but the Blu-ray banner along top spoils the look.
Love the minimalist writing on this offer as well.
