They are filming the sequel and it will probably be released early 2022. What are the chances that the original will be released on 4K?

Disenchanted is going to be a D+ exclusive, they might not bother releasing this on 4K since the sequel will never get a physical release.

What is anyone's opinion about how the movie looks in 4K? Is it much of an upgrade?

I don't know why but Disney cropped 4K a little bit. I think the old bluray still looks great.

It's a shame that even in the 4K they didn't think to remaster the opening animated sequence to fit the entire screen instead of having a black frame all around it.
