Default Blu-ray.com Community's Top 20 TRILOGIES

Welcome to the Blu-ray.com Community's Top 20 Trilogies Thread!

Here we will vote for our top movie trilogies of all time! There was only one poll on the forum back in 2009 for it, so I figured we could give it another round...

The rules are somewhat simple:
1) The films have to be three consecutive films in a film series.

2) I feel a fair assessment of franchises would be that if the three films are part of a franchise, the film following the three films must not be within 5 years of the third. That way the three films were considered a trilogy at some point. (Example: Alien: Resurrection was released in Nov. 1997 and Alien 3 was released in May 1992. The first three were considered a solid trilogy before this. Sorry, this would exclude the three Avengers films, because we all know that as of right now, it is a quadrilogy).

3) Trilogies can consist of films that are not necessairly direct follow-ups to the previous film in the series. (Example: George Romero's Dead series).

4) If the films were marketed as a trilogy, through a DVD set, VHS set, Blu-ray set, it will be counted.

Please list at least 8 trilogies for your list to count!
