I'm confused with this...
So the drive does get power, but doesn't load up the discs on my xbox one s. What is the cause of this and what should I do? ![]() |

Trade it in for a PS4?
![]() That is a weird issue though. Did you check to make sure that the discs don’t have dirt/fingerprints/scratches all over them? How old is the system? Is it possible that the laser has run its course? Calling M$ tech support might be a worthy endeavour. ![]() |

Also make sure you download the Blu-ray player app, as discs won't play without it.

All of them, it started more than a week ago and it happens everytime. By drive, I mean the disc drive for everything, even the UHD and game discs.

The trick I do (that I must have read online a couples years ago) is to hold the disc for a second when putting it in the xbox drive. When you insert it, you hold it just so that it doesn’t get in right away. It doesn’t work everytine but it’s more effective then to just try to insert it 20 times
