Trailer looks so way out there even for a sci fi fan like me lol as for Peter Jackson his lord of the rings trilogy got him cursed! Nothing he does now is close to that achievement so I’ll pass on this....

It's just an okay movie at best... I didn't have a single good or bad expectation for it and i still came out of the theater saying... meh.

I might pick it up down the line, but it's a hard pass from the get go at full price.

It doesn't seem to be getting what you might call "glowing reviews" but that usually intrigues me more.
I hope we see a Premium release from someone but with the HMV release being all-singing-all-dancing, may pick it up as well...

Visually, it was a gorgeous film.

Inspecting the HMV purchase link, I don't see any indication that 3D is included. It does state that there are a total of 3 discs included, but I don't see any mention of 3D. Am I missing something?

Steampunk has always been one of my favorite genres in books. Too bad not too many movies of this type are made.

When I added it I put 3D and it was taken away so I added it again, in the description on HMV it clearly says,

Mortal Engines (hmv Exclusive) Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD Steelbook includes 4K Ultra HD, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray and Digital Download, in bold too.

It says three disc too which I had to alter again aftter someone changed it.

I saw the film on Tuesday and didn’t know what to expect so was pleasantly surprised. Rather enjoyed it. I’m pleased we’re getting the 3D release in this pack.

Hmv are about to close if they dont find a new buyer so have stopped doing pre orders it seems

Until administrators have evaluated the company we don't know where HMV will end up by the time of supposed release (guessing May-ish).

My gut feeling is they might scrape by with say losing half it's stores (maybe more) and go almost fully online. If they fully close I would hope their exclusives go somewhere else, personally I'd like zoom to get them.

Just Venom, Aquaman, Spider-Verse and Fantastic Beasts left now. I'm guessing they'll also show up on Zavvi before too long.

Looks like Zavvi’s listing has dropped the 3D disc for Mortal Engines too, unless that was always a mistake on HMV.

‘Save 14.99 on the rrp!’ ...that you can spend on the 3D disc HMV had been advertising as being included... yay... ...
