Has Warner Bros. Announced Blu-ray Titles At CES? - Blu-ray Forum

I was wondering with WB going blu exclusive have they announced the current future titles coming to blu-ray... Sure would be nice to see:

Batman Begins
Charlie And The Chocolate Factory
The Matrix Trilogy

Any info would be much appreciated...

They're all coming, that was announced prior to their exclusivity announcement. As far as when, no, no release date as of yet. Seems like no studios are announcing releases at CES yet. Hopefully it won't be right away though, so they get the proper Blu treatment first...

Yes it's quite a difference from last year's onslaught of new release announcements.

i wouldnt expect any announcements at CES, if there was going to be some they would have come by now. I expect more announcments to come by the end of January. I dont think we will have any other titles announced that are coming this month and next month seems pretty much set so im expecting announcements by end of January for march/april release....just my thoughts on the matter

Basically, CES being a PR extravaganza for the press, Warner's done what every studio does at CES time:
Advertise that all of last Christmas's and next summer's current movies will be coming to disk soon!

(...Well, Sherlock Q. DUHH, Warner, of freakin' COURSE "I Am Legend" and "Dark Knight" are coming to Blu-ray, like every other freakin' new-release movie!

Now if you wouldn't mind being gracious enough to tell us what old movies in new upgraded/restored packages we can finally retire our SD's on?)
