This is the same outlet that scooped everyone with the Sgt Rock movie, so I am inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt

Too much testosterone in that cast. Can they tone it down some?

Let's be honest, is anyone really excited about this?

Not
"I'll keep an open mind" or
"I'm optimistic" or
"More Kamala is a good thing"

But really excited for this fake Champions thing? *

*Bluebonnet please don't answer.

I don't have enough information to make a judgement on anything. When does it take place? Is it a street team set in New York as a counter to
[Show spoiler] Fisk
?
Will they be part of the Secret Wars team?

This is true, we simply don't have any official info about the project. We don't know who the showrunner is going to be, nor do we know exactly who's going to be in the cast. Right now we only have the unofficial info.

Well, I mean, it will help a lot to have some official info. The assumption is that this is going to take the place of a potential Young Avengers movie.

It is definitely possible that it will be targeting younger viewers... but we don't know that for sure yet.

And if it was mostly for kids... well, that's not a bad thing, necessarily. If they get younger viewers interested then that would help the general longevity of the franchise.

Well I don't want to be one of those thread crapping douches so I won't comment anymore but I don't think any of those things would get me to watch this.

Champions have been in the comics for about a decade, it's not just Young Avengers. But they're similar. Young Avengers were just the kid knockoffs of the adults, Champions is them trying to be better and have more consideration for the collateral damage. It's not a surprise they're focusing on a recent thing after the Scarlet Witch retcon, plus some of them aren't kids anymore.

That would be satisfying as hell.
In that scenario --bring them on!

As long as Howard The Duck is spared.... ok!
