This is a grail for me. Awesome news. Been wanting this in hd for years. I'll probably still keep the old LD for the PCM track. I even had this one on the obscure 'movie cd' format in the 90s.

Awesome, finally!! I have always really loved this one.
Yeah, the CGI effects are primitive and don't hold up, but it's a product of the time and IMO still works perfectly for the movie. |

That's pretty much how I see it. I was intrigued by FMV video games back then and Phantasmagoria is still one of my all time favs. Haters gonna hate. It's like seeing cell phones from twenty years ago in movies now. They were pretty cutting edge at the time. 90s cyber/tech style thrillers were a fun time, imo. The internet was such a wild west back then and the general public had so many paranoid views because it was still such a new concept with very poor organization compared to today.
