Is there any sites/ stores that are still taking pre-orders? If so where.

This is a good one to maintain a close look at the AVS Forums for information about. Toys-R-Us, Amazon, EB/GS may all have preorders yet to come. EB/GS & Amazon online and Toys-R-Us via bundled in store packages.

No one is taking preorders yet, at least on amazon where I plan to get my ps3. I heard that the preorder date may be at late as November 2nd, but better late then never. Keep in mind that Sony has to confirm with all major online retailers how many ps3's will be available for preorder before anything else happens.

I heard that toysrus "may" start PS3 pre-orders Oct 29 or 30th. This is just a rumor right now though.

I read that sony will start to ship out ps3's to retail stores starting tomarrow I think.

I don't know about that, but with PS3 being 3 weeks and 2 days away I imagine that the 30,000 or so kiosks need to start going up right now.

I would bet by this weekend we will start seeing them appear and by next weekend they should be everywhere.

Then the fun really begins!

I called toys r us and they said they didn't know, that they would probably do a package deal like they did for the 360. So I'm wondering if I should just go down on Sunday and see instead of waiting to call, then being screwed cuz I didn't go down. I think I'm gonna go down and wait. If it's true it'll be worth it. So does the PS3 have all the ability to decode the new audio formats? And has hdmi 1.3???? Just wondering if anyone knew about the audio???
