THIR13EN GHOSTS/HOUSE OF WAX (BestBuy Exclusive) Out Now! - Blu-ray Forum

Went to my local BB and found a section dedicated to Warners double feature BDs. At the bottom I noticed a BB exclusive for THIR13EN GHOSTS/HOUSE OF WAX. This is a 2 disc BD set with all the features found on the dvd of THIR13EN GHOSTS and HOUSE OF WAX BD ported over to this set. Price for this double feature is $22.99.

I never seen HOW as I heard nothing but bad things but I really enjoyed THIR13EN GHOSTS back in 2001 when it was released. So I had to pick this up.

Nice pick up. I own the 13 Ghosts UK IMport. I'm still waiting for House on Haunted Hill. It'd be nice if they released it as a double feature with the DTV Sequel.

both are surprisingly decent horror flicks. House Of Wax in particular shocked me at how it managed to not only not suck, but entertain me throughout its run-time.

Actually it was much cheaper last week at $16.99. Now I feel bad for not having gotten it

Are both movies on one disc? What audio format do they use? How is the PQ/AQ on THIR13EN GHOSTS? That's really the only one I care about. I saw HoW already and could go without seeing it again.

Judging by the last picture I would say there each on separate discs since it says disc one and two.

And from reading the smaller font below it says 13 Ghosts has DTS-HD 5.1 audio and I think House Of Wax just has a Dolby Digital 5.1.

I wasnt planning on getting this because I thought they were both on separate discs...but now after seeing that picture I will have to get this for sure!

I enjoyed both of these movies.

I bought the Bloodsport/Time Cop double feature as well. Both movies are on one disc though. I can pretty well bet this one is the same.

As shown in the picture and as I stated above... this is a two disc set. The back of the box CLEARLY is marked... DISC ONE and DISC TWO.

I own it. It's 2 seperate bluray discs. I wish they would have done that with all of them.

House of Wax likely only has DD 5.1 because it's the same disc that was released a while ago. This is the first time Thirteen Ghosts has been released in the US.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but wondering if anyone who has this can help me out? I just got this double feature in - I love Thir13en Ghosts! I am about 20 minutes into it at the moment, and wondering if there's audio/video sync problems or maybe they dubbed a few scenes over? When Cyrus and Dennis are talking at the beginning, Cyrus has a few lines where his lips move, but there's no voice, like it cut a word out. When his voice comes out it's in sync, but there's two or three scenes where it has him talking, and nothing comes out when his lips move..

ok is thirteen ghosts the same transfer used in the uk blu ray by sony, because this only recieved 3 video rating while the uk pq had a higher rating.

I already have House Of Wax but I might pick this up for Thirteen Ghosts since I actually enjoyed it. Some of the ghosts were cool and the gore was awesome.

Nice find for $1. But there are no signs it's going oop. Wal-Mart, Amazon and Best Buy seem to currently be carrying the title at the moment without any problems.

Even if it does go OOP, it's not a big deal. House of Wax already has a single release and Thirteen Ghosts is very likely to get a release from SF with their Warner deal.
