Default Not time to celebrate yet

Ok guys, I have some bad news.

I just spoke with some buddies of mine - (yes, we're on opposite ends as far as the HD war is concerned, but are still friends) - who told me that despite of what the news wants us to believe; everything is going as planned [by the HD-DVD camp] and they will soon make their move and switch everything around. This is all just a big diversion tactic so that Toshiba can roll out their big guns.

So be warned everyone ... don't celebrate yet.

I'm a half HD DVD supporter and I don't give it a hope in hell at this point.

It's over.

Right, and I am caucasian and 14 years old. Fox is not going HD DVD, neither is Disney(this I know for sure) or Sony. And now Warner is going blu exclusive. This is game over if I ever saw it.

What do you mean by big guns? Does your friend works for Microsoft, Universal, Paramount, or Toshiba? Do they have any proof? We need proof.

I think you do have to wait on Universal and Paramont. They could keep Hd Dvd lingering for a while. But Hd Dvd can't win now. So you can relax the war isn't over but the outcome is no longer in doubt.

Let them bring out the big guns and shoot themselves in the face with them.

So WB going blu exclusive was a diversion tactic? That's one helluva diversion tactic....I wonder what else they have up their sleeves.

I guess my post is talking about the desperate denial the HD-DVD guys are in. I almost feel sorry for them I know we were pretty beaten down after Paramount switched, but I don't think anyone of us was in this much denial.
