Default My new setup - Feedback welcome

Harman/Karmon AVR247 + Def Tech's PC600.

Before this I owned a 1000 watt (1khz) Sony HTIB DAV-DX255 which was great until I went high def 5 months ago. The speakers went popcorn on me when it came to intense sound scenes (Hitchhiker's Guide on Blu-Ray, anyone?).

Anyways, upgraded to this and realized a key difference: the DAV was setup so that when it meant Right side it was STAGE right (i.e. if you were the TV facing the couch the RIGHT would be the audiences LEFT) - where my new receiver means RIGHT (If you are the TV facing the couch the RIGHT would be the audiences RIGHT) and so now I have to switch the cables. ARG!

Does this happen to anyone else? Am I missing something to catch this before install?

Man, all connections are stage right/stage left. Even for the HTIB. How the heck did they get that reversed? Too bizarre.
