John And Mary - comments on quality?

I've just noticed that 'John And Mary' (Dustin Hoffman and Mia Farrow) was released on BD in France earlier this month. Can anyone comment on the transfer quality?

In particular, does it have forced French subtitles when the English language track is selected?

A bit dirty, but overall it's pretty neat. No DNR, no automatic dirt removal.

Hope the subs are optional, Not seen this but it's been on my to watch list for a while. Will probably grab it with my next Amazon.fr order

I only got to see it because it's been up on youtube for some time, an hd tv broadcast rip. I really liked it. It was one of Hoffman and Farrow's better efforts from that period. It's 20th century fox and could well get an English-friendly release I reckon.

I almost bought this blu as it's going for around £10 with an ebay seller at the moment. Almost that is til I found out here that it has forced subs.
