I think I was scammed for slip/any help? - Blu-ray Forum

Someone purchased a movie from me with a rare slipcover. Now they are saying that the movie didn't come with it. I packaged the slip separately from the movie and placed both items in a box. He is from Canada I am from US. Now I may be out a rare slipcover. Sigh.

What's the other guys trading score like? When did he register? Maybe PM an admin to see if this person has been reported for saying they didn't receive stuff on other occasions. Also, double check your shelves to be 110% sure you didn't in fact forget to package the movie up with the slip.

He has 100% trading score. I triple checked my shelves. I specifically remember putting the slip in the box with the movie. Does Canada post office open up packages by chance?

I believe it use to be in the top 10 of Canadian slipcovers. Now I'm going into acceptance. I'm sure people are going to be curious about what slip it is. I'll give one clue but I may just not be a real hero.

Canada Post will sometimes open packages for Customs inspection but when they do, they mark the package so you know it's been opened by them.

But he got the slipcover, right? Just says he can't find the movie? So can't you partial refund or find a second hand copy of the movie without a slipcover and send that?

I am not sure what happened. But that bad boy is lost somewhere. I really wish it was in good hands. I've bought slips from Canada and everything has went well. My best purchases were The Punisher and Sin City. I'm keeping those until I die. Lol.

No he said he just received the movie. Not the slip.

I remember now. I sent the movie and the slip in a bubble package. I put the slip between two card boards, the movie in bubble wrap, and then tied both together with a rubber band. Yes. That's correct. How could they get separated?

Have them re-check the packaging. I have to wonder if they threw out the slip with what sounds like great packaging.

Did the buyer know the slip wasn't on the movie? Maybe that person thought everything else in the box was packing material and threw it out.

Guys. Great news. I hope the buyer doesn't read this thread. Haha. But it came down to a significant other that opened the package for the buyer. And the rest is history. PM if you want more details.
