Why is it okder films show flickering in the background? I seem to notice it in lighter areas or backdrops.
For instance I was watching Lawrence of Arabia and the Sandy hills and mountains in the background kept flickering a bit to my eye. Is it just a setting on the display I can work around? Does it have to do with how the film captured? It's stuff like this that once see and I can't unsee it. |
