Default Places you live close to but have never gone

I've lived here in the commonwealth all most of my life but have never gone to Arlington National Cemetary. Seriously passed me off they treated Robert E. Lee's place like that. At least the house is untouched.

I forget the story. Did the Union start burying dead Confederate soldiers there or dead Union soldiers there? Obviously I can google it but I'm browsing the forum for a particular thread and I saw this one. Good topic. As for my question, you would think the Union would bury dead Confederate soldiers there to haunt Lee but then why would the Union take the time and use the manpower to bury dead Confederate soldiers?

Anyway, have been there twice and at least on one trip, we did watch the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Being that I live in the Midwest, I have never been to Mackinac Island in Michigan. It's where they filmed the movie Somewhere in Time, I have always wanted to visit there.

I think I've been there. Or maybe it was Mackinaw Island. I live close to the Mayfield plant, but I've never been. I also live EXTREMELY close to (so close I could touch them) the Ryman and the Grand Old Opry. Yet, I've never been to the Grand Old Opry nor I have toured backstage at the Ryman. I don't think I've ever seen The Hermitage either.

Stayed at the Opryland Hotel for a couple nights on vacation back in 1997. It was really impressive.

It is pretty impressive. I've never stayed, but I've been inside numerous times. Another great hotel in town is Union Station. I've never been in there that I can recall, but I used to take the train from there as a kid. From the pictures, it is even more breathtaking and beautiful than Opryland Hotel. I've been meaning to stay there for a night or two, but never got around to it. I think I will finally do that next year.
