Blu-ray Samurai

It has recently come to my attention that movies that are in '4K HDR' which more often than not uderlize the most most updated and best masters/transfers DO NOT downscale to 1080p for those of us who still use 1080p screens.
So I thought this thread could be used for iTunes 1080p users who want to know which movies are remastered when making a purchase of the 1080p version. These are the ones I know of Halloween (1978) - Same scan used on the 2013 Blu-Ray remaster The Matrix: Reloaded and The Matrix: Revolution. I have not checked these but another member mentioned that the 'HD versions' were the remastered transfers which I believe are also available on standard Blu-Ray Please continue to add to the list or contribute to the discussion, it would be very helpful. |
