Finally coming to Netflix, I believe. Good show for the most part.

& unless their finances suddenly drop into the toilet, she's not going to be in this spin-off, so NBC might be hoping a bit too much for this to be as successful... ![]() |

There's also the whole "oh that's the show Megan Markle was on" aspect to it. I liked the show at first, but about halfway through it's run it went from the standard USA Network atmosphere all the shows had at the time and started getting too soapy and took itself too seriously. Then Mike and Rachel left and I stopped watching, it was getting tedious even before they left, I didn't care to keep watching after. If this spinoff is good like the first half of the show, I'll check it out... but I'm not expecting much from NBC. |

Pretty average start. Most of the characters made little or no impression on me - I couldn't tell you any of their names - & the constant flashbacks were irritating & distracting (maybe after Arrow, Amell will only make shows that have flashbacks?). The late John Amos playing himself was weird.
Took me about half the episode to realize that was Eugene from The Walking Dead as Arrow's nemesis. ![]() I like Amell & Maggie Grace though, so I'll give it a few more episodes. ![]() |

I thought Amell spent the entire episode trying to be Harvey Spector and it just didn't work for me.
Will try a couple more episodes in case there's a miraculous turnaround, but I'm not hopeful. It might have had more appeal if it didn't have the Suits moniker attached to it. |

Anyone still watching this? I have a feeling it's going to be one-and-done unless they move a second season to USA or Peacock. Does USA even do original scripted programming anymore?
Allegedly this was its own show and they turned it into a Suits spinoff late in the process, but I don't know if I believe that. It's exactly like Suits in that these characters are always yelling at each other over the slightest provocation (and relationships are fine at the end of the episode even though no one apologized or acknowledged any wrong doing). For a lawyer show, they don't even practice any law. It's all about threats of lawsuits and counter lawsuits and blackmail and getting people fired. Characters hand each other files like Law & Order witnesses move crates. Also, worst screenwriting for jury trials since Bull. |
