Cool Favorite Cold Opens
What are your favorite cold opens* to films? I make a point of studying and analyzing thse types of openings. Some of my favorite films start off this way. It also serves me as an exercise to become more knowledgable about film structure, and works the grey matter to remember various aspects of any one film.

A few that come quickly to mind are:
  • Turin Horse
  • Drive
  • Under the Skin
  • Amadeus






*When a film starts off immeditely without or minimal credits, no montages or opening titles, followed by the titles.
