British distributors Artificial Eye have announced that they will release on Blu-ray director Peter Strickland's The Duke of Burgundy (2014), starring Sidse Babett Knudsen, Monica Swinn, Chiara D'Anna, and Monica Swinn. The release will be available for purchase on April 27.

Special features to be included with this upcoming release have not yet been finalized.

In an unnamed European town, in an unspecified year, live Cynthia and Evelyn. Every day Evelyn cycles to Cynthia's mansion to work as a lowly maid – and every day the cruel, vindictive Cynthia inflicts countless sadistic humiliations upon her.
