Yes!!! I love it!!! I got the 40GB at Wal-Mart (with my sister's discount hehe). I'm watching Spider-Man 3 as I type and I love it!!!! Finally I can watch the Blu-rays I've been saving up!!!

PS3 is one of the most versatile machines in the market. But please when your not watching a movie or playing a game put it into Folding@home mode

Yes welcome to the world of Blu! I bought a PS3 almost as soon as they came out. And I have no regrets. Would have to be one of my best purchases ever! I really don't understand why anyone would waste there money on a 360! They do have a few good games but nothing that's really impressed me. Probably someone is going to say to me, "What about Halo 3?" Well I have a question for you what's so great about that game?

congrats! I own both consoles but I luv my PS3 much more then my 360

PS3 also goes perfectly with a 1080p HDTV.

Everyone who purchased PS3, must be enjoying the BLU-RAYs on it. But do not forget this is also a next gen console and not it enjoys huge array of games(PSN store+BLU Media).

It is necessary for you all to buy games for PS3 to support it's real cause.

Congrats! I picked up a PS3 back in July when the 60GB dropped in price. The PS3 just kinda sat there until August when I bought The Patriot and my collection has just recently grown by a lot. I am a 360 gamer (launch 360, never had a RRoD), but love my PS3 as a Media Player. I don't have any PS3 games, but that will change once some of the big PS3 exclusives come out. Anyway... welcome to the Blu-side!
