Mikemovies Active Member Member since:Dec 2018 Location:Georgia	Sophie Scholl from Kino; an upgrade or no? Did anyone else pick this up this week from Kino and compare it to the old blu ray released in 2008? I have compared them and just can't decide which is better and I welcome opinions. The 2008 one had really good quality IMO. I think the new release has a bit more grain, so perhaps a bit more detail, but not as much as I had hoped from a 4k scan. I think the new release is a letdown in other ways though, such as the exact same cover art and the exact same extras. One odd thing is the old release says it has a run time of 115 minutes while the new Kino release says 120.
