Still can't shake the anger I felt at the news as much as the sadness.

I watched Popeye last month, both him and Shelley Duvall are now gone. Such talented actors!

I hate being reminded he's not with us anymore, when some comedian dies, the usual old clique gets rolled out that comeidan was a "Comedy Genius". For Robin, it's the only time that phrase truly fits. He was an actual, bonafide, Genius in the truest sense of the word, his mind worked so fast, his timing impeccable, his jokes landed time and again without fault.

I remember watching Mork & Mindy when I was a kid all those decades ago. And even under the restrictions of being a family-friendly show, he still was the best comedian I have ever seen. That was my introduction to him and ever since then, I sought out every time he was in TV and Movies.

Thank you Robin, thank you for bringing me more joy than any other celebrity in history, thank you for all the times you made me laugh so much I was on the floor with my insides hurting. Not in the metaphorical sense, but actually on the floor, thinking I was going to break something inside me from laughing so much. And it was far more often than i'd like to admit. You were glorious, you were a beautiful human being, and it's just horrible the way you went despite having just about the whole world loving you. You are by far the funniest comedian to have ever lived and the world is darker for you not being in it.

Thank you for all the memories.

Can’t believe it’s been 10 years since he died. He was a great actor and one of the funniest people in Hollywood. I don’t think there’s anyone who can touch Robin Williams.

My sadness at his absence and loss of potential movies is eclipsed by the fact that HE is at peace and he no longer needs to entertain the world while losing himself.

Him and Heath Ledger (more so Williams, though) really, really got to me.

I can't watch anything of his without getting choked up, especially Hook and Dead Poets. Or Mrs. Doubtfire-- that ending was always a dam burster but now the added poignancy just obliterates me.

All that stated-- I'll be watching Robin Williams movies until I die. No man has made me laugh as much or as continuously as he did. And does.

Long live the Pan!

Btw, his performance in Toys (and Toys in general, one of my favorite films) remains perhaps his most underappreciated work. I am heartbroken the only HD version of the film is (seemingly) exclusive for Starz.

I still remember working my evening 3-11 shift when the news broke. Hard to believe it’s been 10 years.

So many great films & too many to list. The Birdcage, Good Morning Vietnam, Aladdin, Jumanji… I think Hook is my favorite RW film just because I was so young when it came out and loved Peter Pan. It never gets old and I was so excited when my mom bought the VHS for me.

Robin left this earth far too soon but what a gift and legacy he left us.

Joan River and Robin Williams both died that summer. And if they only knew that Donald Trump would run for president the very next year.

He gave us some of the most iconic movies that are already going to be considered classics for generations to come, but it's also sad to think how many more movies Robin would have given the world if he hadn't passed.

Also, its true. Time just goes like the blink of an eye. A decade already.

One that still hurts to think about. He was one of those celebrities that just somehow felt like he'd always be around. I still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I found out he'd passed. Obviously loved his comedic work growing up, but as I've gotten older and discovered more of his dramatic work, I really see how talented he truly was. His death left a void in Hollywood that I still don't think has been filled, and may never. A truly singular talent.
