Default Ultraviolet closing 31/7

Just recieved an email stating that i will lose my 200 films that ive collected from ultraviolet. This is just another example of why I will never fully go digital as there is a good chance that everyone will lose their movies from this service

Yeah, I got the same email. As long as your UV account is linked to a retailer (eg. flixter) you will still be able to access your movies through the retailer. Doesn't inspire confidence though.

I don't care that much. When I get a code with a physical purchase I usually add it to my flixter, but I don't recall ever watching any of them.

Flixster hasn’t shut down in the U.K just the U.S. It’s Ultraviolet that’s closing down.
