Default Which iTunes storefront has the best version of a movie?

I don’t know about anyone else, but when buying movies from iTunes, I often find myself comparing the versions available in the UK and US storefronts to see which store has the better version.

This tends to be based on special features present and 4K HDR availability. Reasons tend to be because of difference in distributors, though this isn’t always the case.

I was wondering if it might be useful to other people as much as myself, if we had a thread which compares available films from different storefronts to identify the optimum version.

Here’s a few, just to start:

Gladiator - available in 4K Dolby Vision in the US, opposed to (Extended Cut only) HD only in the UK
Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition - 4KDV in US, HD (as extra feature) in UK
Lincoln - Special Features in US, none in UK

If people are interested in this topic, shall we continue by identifying other movies? Not restricted to just US and UK stores...

I'm interested in this myself. I'm in Ireland but the stores or more less the same for upgrades and content, UK just gets better sales prices.

The US store was the only to buy from for a long time but most of the studios seem to trying to get us even.

These are the ones with extra in the US store that I want for Ireland :

Song of the Sea
The Dark Crystal
The Princess Bride
Transformers The Movie

I don't expect upgrades or extras for these because of disruption/copyright issues so I'll buy them on the store.

Others with extras in the US only are :
The Passion of the Christ
A Few Good Men
The Iron Giant

I'm hoping to get an AppleTV 4K and a 4K TV soon but I wouldn't buy a movie from the US store for 4K because it will turn up here eventually. Switching accounts is easy but I like to see the number of movies in my library to to up.

About Gladiator - I recently had trouble with Jurassic Park and humorous emails Universal eventually corrected it for me (anyone else unable to stream it should contact them) but during the exchanges I mentioned Gladiator had no extended cut or extras in the Irish store and it is unusual for there to be a difference with the UK. They promise to look into it, so I would advise UK customer to also contact Universal and request both cuts).

UK currently has The Fog and They Live in 4K DV while us bedraggled colonists only have lowly HD. I believe you lordlings also get The Deer Hunter in 4K DV as well. I'm not bitter.
