Default Ni No Kuni II Revenant Kingdom

Seems that Tidux has confirmed Ni No Kuni 2 is being developed exclusively for PS4 and a trailer will be coming soon. Here's a link to the tweets

Lol, seriously though, as I get older, I find less interest in modern games. Ni No Kuni was an exception to the rule, I guess. I almost platinumed the game but then I sold my PS3. Got really close though.

I hope this is true.

Same here. As much as I loved the game I was glad when I got my platinum and quit playing it.

Star Ocean V confirmed, Zestiria's release window revealed, and now it looks like we're getting Ni No Kuni 2. This has been a pretty damn good week for JRPG fans.

Even though the grind/ repeated random encounters kinda killed my enjoyment of the first after a while, I would really be looking forward to this.

It's a JRPG what did you expect it to be like?

More modern and not requiring massive amounts of grind ?
I didn't remember needing that much in say ... Eternal Sonata per example (and no I'm not saying that ES is better).

Most JRPG's are grinding games though with few exceptions.

Man, I would also like to get a new Eternal Sonata. I enjoyed that game.

You do not have to grind in Ni No Kuni to beat the game...unless you REALLY suck as it's pretty damn easy. If you want to platinum it, okay, that's a different story.

Well, it's all relative, but I would think I do not "suck" (thank you very much), and apparently it is a fairly common assumption that you have to grind in NNK.

But good for you if you did not need to. /pat on the head

I didn't get that far into the first one so I can't judge bad about it.

I do remember liking what little bit I saw. When they release this, maybe they will release the first one for PS4 too.

The link shows you how to grind fast. Nothing about needing to do it to beat the game. As I said, if you're going for the Platinum, then you will need to.

If you find a review that complains about having to grind in order to get past tough sections, that would be a good piece of evidence.
