This movie is a masterpiece! Matthew Modine and Nicolas Cage are amazing in it, and the cinematography and score are beautiful.

I would just love to see it on blu-ray.

I haven't seen this one since my senior year in high school. I remember great performances and little else. I wouldn't mind checking it out again.

Great film. Especially Peter Gabriel's engulfing moody soundtrack. A lot of Alan Parker's early work is not on blu-ray with this and Pink Floyd's The Wall in particular being kind of a head scratcher as to why? There's an HD master you can rent or buy on Amazon or Vudu but I prefer physical media for important films such as this.

Powerhouse have this for their Indicator range in the UK - they've been working on it for a while. Shouldn't be too much longer to wait, and as its one of their Sony titles it'll be region free....
