iTunes 4k Bundles - Blu-ray Forum

I'm noticing that when I filter on itunes and 4k under Year-End Deals... https://www.blu-ray.com/deals/?sortb...egory=itunes4k

All of the bundles state 4k, but when I click on iTunes that they only show HD. Lets take the $14.99 Ghost Buster Trilogy that I really want to buy as 4k

Anyone know if one would actually receive 4k in the MoviesAnywhere or would it be just HD? I want to believe the filters on this website trump the HD only listing on all of these iTunes packages... Do note that I only watch movies in VUDU so would need the MA flag to state 4k.

Anything bundle that ends in .99 will port in HD to MA. Any other price, will probably port 4K to MA.

You need to buy them individually to get 4k versions on all services. If you buy a bundle that ends in .99 you will only get the 4k versions on itunes, HD on other sites. On VUDU however the max resolution for these movies is HDX so you cant see them in 4k on VUDU, if they add them in UHD later they will upgrade. Only Itunes and FandangoNow have the original Ghostbusters films in UHD. When I redeemed my 4k codes on movies anywhere I was like why are these only in HDX and its because that is the max resolution VUDU has, I have them in 4k on itunes and fandangonow. Hope this info helps.

Yeah, I made the purchase and it ported to MA as HD for the Ghostbusters Trilogy. You guys were right and got impatient last night--thanks for the feedback and tips.

The question remains though--why does this site have the bundles listed as 4k then?

1 or more titles are 4K in the bundle.

This site only lists ITunes specific information. It doesn’t “care” about how it transfers, just how it will be in ITunes, which for the Ghostbudters all would be 4K.

My train of thought is that it is in their system as an HD bundle, but you are being upgraded to 4k on individual titles within the bundle from Apple's "generosity".
