The movie follows 17-year-old Daryn who finds out that his girlfriend is dying. He sets out to give her an entire life in the last year she has left.

Filmed back in March/April 2017, this teen drama/romance from Sony was finally released on Amazon Prime last week.

I just watched it, and it's almost exactly the same film as Midnight Sun (2018), which filmed in October/November 2015.

The endings are EXACTLY THE SAME, along with a few plot points. Not sure if that's why Life In A Year delayed its release since both films are almost exactly the same. There had to have been something going on where someone read Midnight Sun's script and decided to rip it off.

Anyway, I enjoyed this movie and hope Sony releases it on blu.

Reminds me of Me and Earl and the Dying Girl in a way. I'm still interested, though.
