If this is not aloud, then it can be deleted but there is a petition on the internet for iPod touch owners to sign if the think they shouldnt have to pay for the January Software uprade which gives iPhone features like mail and stocks. All new iPod touchs from this point include the new features.

I signed... I was kinda peeved to have to pay so much for something I felt should have been included to begin with.

can you replace the hd on this without taking it apart?

It doesn't have an HD. It uses NAND.

i know it has flash memory but is it built in or can you change it without taking it apart since i looked on ebay and they didnt have any 16gb flash drives for it ....so im assuming its built in or else they wouldnt offer a 8gb and 16gb model if you could just change the drive

I'm more annoyed there's no 16GB iphone (and also without 3G/1800, a 3-5mp camera and a xenon flash).

Isn't there a "jailbreak" type thing for the Touch?
