Saw trailer for this in front of Nutcracker and the Four Realms. I like that's all British, reminds me of Harry Potter.

I’m curious why he would turn down project after project only to follow up Attack the Block with... this. Looks like a generic kids movie but who knows... could be fun.

Didn't see a thread for this. Looks like a fun/silly kids movie. It's early, but it's getting pretty good reviews so far. Comes out on January 25th.

Oh sorry. I searched both Kid and King because I figured there had to be one, but didn't see it on the results for some reason. I'll report it

I’m really surprised at the good reviews for this. The trailer looked really bad to me but I think I’m going to check it out now.

I was thinking the same thing. I noticed that Joe Cornish is the director/writer. The last movie in which he directed (and wrote) I loved! It was Attack the Block.

I thought the trailer looked a little silly, but also like good clean fun. I'll be seeing it this weekend.
