Yeah, there's been quite a few BR steelbooks. I really like the look of this one.

That does look pretty nice. If this has decent rear and inside art, I may be forced to purchase.

Funnily enough, Blade Runner being my favourite film, I only have one release (the initial US 5-disc set).

Doesn't impress so much. The right side with the white lighting just makes the artwork and Ford's face look washed out. looks Blah from this image. Possibly better in person but there are a lot of lazy steelbooks out there this is one of them.

Hopefully Mondo will choose this film as a future release, since I'd certainly buy it!

It's based off an officially commissioned poster for BFI's screening of The Final Cut earlier this year

Here's a tweet of them revealing it

Another one!?
It wouldn't be so bad if they were all the different cuts of the film (there's like 7 different known cuts of it), but they aren't. They are all the same cut.

Warner France realized they could make some money with steelbooks after all. 4 years after everyone else. Now they are re-releasing for the X-th time movies we are fed up buying again and again.

I bought that 5-disc set and sold it ages ago. Its the only one where I found the Final Cut defaulting to lossy 5.1. Briefcase is well worth it if you can find it for a reasonable price (and if youre a fan obviously!).

Do I make this my twenty-sixth copy of the film? It's tempting. Still I'm always hoping that they'll release a Steelbook with the original John Alvin artwork. I'm surprised that they haven't already.

I think we'll probably see this one show up in a few countries. It is the most unique art to date, and I personally like it.

I prefer this artwork to the Digibook Origami unicorn in all honesty

just wish it had the full content though instead of just the film

Only the Spanish release defaults to the TrueHD track, no other release that I am aware of does, unless other EU releases do too.

I tell a lie, I have owned the 2-disc UK release of The Final Cut, but it would default to the lossy DD track, and I owned the JP Archival release, that features the third disc from the 5-disc US set:

Thanks.

If the disc with this Steel defaults to the TrueHD track, then that would be beneficial, is I hate having to select the track when the film is playing back, even at the beginning.

I just hope it has some nice rear and inside art.
