I’m a veteran on the 4k uhd forums, but only post monthly or so. Could use your opinions for my upgrade.
I currently have a 65 b6 OLED and simply put, it’s way too small for my living room seating. I’m 12-14 feet away depending on where I sit, and although a 75” is probably still not big enough for ideal seating, it will be substantially better. I ruled out the 77” oled because, well, money, and narrowed it down to a bunch of LCD’s with FALD. From my months of research, I will not settle for edge lit. I also want a TV that can showcase hdr, and is not afraid to be bright. It is not the darkest room and my oled has suffered the last two years in such a bright open room. I also ruled out a projector for same reason, room isn’t dark. The two TV’s that keep on coming up from the 2018 selection are the Sony XBR75X900F and the Samsung QN75Q8FN QLED. I’ve been leaning Sony because of dolby vision and from hearing Sony is hard to disappoint. They are both in the same price range, around $3,000. What are your opinions? Thanks! Love the community here. |
