Default Natural Born Killers Blu-ray 6/10/2008, Unrated Director's Cut 8/2/2009

I just love this film. NBK is just another one of those films that stir up a boat load of crap in just about every film class. The original film was good, but then followed up by a Directors cut that seriously extended the movie. What about seeing this film on BD spectacularly transfered from the master for all its glory then have it accompanied by a lossless soundtrack? Well just food for thought, because it truely would be a stunner in all the glitz and glam of Blu. Whats your take?

Great film.

I think this a Warner distribution. Unfortunately, that means the transfer will most likely be the lowest common denominator (HD-DUD) then piped over to Blu-ray.

I don't see them do anything spectacular on BD until they make up their minds.

Not a big fan of Oliver Stone or this effort from him, but anything on blu-ray or SACD for that matter is good with me!

Default Natural Born Killers

Hey this is a Warner movie which would seriously rule on Blu. Anyone else want this. I would pick it up the day it is released.

I remember my parents taking the VHS out and throwing it away! Knew I was on to something then!

Think it would look and sound great on Blu!

Aren't Oliver Stone's movies released by Paramount or Universal? I can't remember who owns the rights to his films.

In the U.S. the theatrical cut is owned by Warner and the director's cut was last released by LionsGate.

Ah, this would be trippy on Blu! I watched my old DVD (upconverted) a couple weeks ago - it looked AWFUL! Sure would like to check it out in hi-def!

Warner has prepared another interesting launch Blu-ray: Murderers ex officio (Natural born killers). It will be another edition "box-book", from ten warner said in principle that would draw this year. Also have a clue TrueHD remastered in English. There's no confirmed date of departure.
So it's one of those book releases.
