A lot of the choices are there to be edgy and get attention. I doubt they really think IW or Christopher Robin was a bad film they just want people to talk about them. Best to ignore the trolls

I saw:
Venom Annhilation Infinity War A Quiet Place Black Panther Solo Ant-Man & the Wasp Mission Impossible Fallout Crazy Rich Asians Jurassic World 2 They were all either meh, good, or great. The meh ones were Jurassic World 2 and Solo. Venom might be bad from a storytelling standpoint but I was really entertained by it. |

If the remaining hour and fifty minutes of Tomb Raider is as poor as the first ten minutes I watched, then Tomb Raider. Definitely Tomb Raider.

The Cloverfield Paradox for me, unfortunately. Nothing else came close.

1. The Nun (by far; the fact that the putz who wrote this inept, tediously old-fashioned cliché-fest is writing and directing Annabelle 3 totally kills my appetite for it)
2. Rampage 3. The Cloverfield Paradox 4. The Devils's Doorway 5. The Endless 6. The Ritual 7. Mute 8. Venom |

For me, the three straight up worst films that I saw were Slender Man, The Hurricane Heist, and Mary Shelley. Just felt like they were a total waste of my time, and can't think of anything positive to say about them.
There were plenty of other bad ones (Robin Hood, Happytime Murders, Death Wish, Hell Fest, etc) that at least had some elements that I enjoyed with very low standards. |

Slender Man (absolute drivel, the four leads gave it their all, but it was a boring, cliched Sony mess)
Step-Sisters Little *****es (still the worst of 2018, so unfunny and unoriginal) The 15:17 to Paris Mute The Cloverfield Paradox A Wrinkle In Time Show Dogs The Darkest Minds Now the films that I don't like, nor hate, although it leans towards the former: Skyscraper Peppermint |

If we're factoring in streaming, Game Over, Man! is the worst thing I've seen this year, followed closely by The Open House
![]() I actually didn't dislike Cloverfield: Parodox, like 99% of you. It was disappointing as a Cloverfield film for sure, but as a popcorn Sci-fi movie? I thought it was decent. I think the hype and the forced connection to Cloverfield really made people hate it more. |
