Default Advice about smoke and water damage to collection

Hi Folks looking for some advice or helpful tips on what to do with my collection. Two weeks ago my home was partially destroyed by fire. Some of my dvd collection was boxed up in the loft and destroyed (insurance will take care of that) All of my Blu-Ray collection was stored on shelves in the lounge. The lounge took mostly water and smoke damage. So I managed to get all the Blu-ray out after the fire and put them in boxes and into storage. There seems to be very little water damage to the paper sleeves but the there is some smoke residue lingering on the paper. Once I can order new covers I plan on switching out all the covers. My first question is is there a way to get rid of the smoke smell or is it a case of waiting for it to slowly go away on its own. I should point out insurance won’t replace any of them even the ones with obvious water damage because the disks are the things that need to be damaged and none of the disks had any damage. We are a non smoking house so the smell of smoke residue bothers me. Guess I am hoping there is some miracle product out there someone knows about that can remove smoke from paper, wishful thinking I’m sure.
