Sooooo, how does she work? If turning off the light makes her a physical thing then wouldn't the lights that outline her cause her to vanish? Wouldn't she only work like that one part of the character feeling that she was in the pitch black room?
Should of just been a ghost we never see and takes people who end up in a pitch black room. |

Well if this movie is logical, which it won't be, it could be that only the side that would not have light hitting her forms a corporeal presence, so like if there was a light to the left of her, only the right side of her would be visible (as silhouette) while the left side would fade away to nothing.

Seemed like a good concept. Minimalist ghost stories are usually the most effective. Lost me completely with the "I once had a friend [who was allergic to the sun]" nonsense.

For sure I'll watch this one in theaters, it seems it will be good.
Not going to watch the short film (actually I can't remember if I ever watched it, but I don't think so) because probably it would ruin the whole experience of watching the film. |

It won't (well it didn't for me personally). They basically took the 2 minute short film and created a storyline to use to prolong the idea. The isn't like The Babadook where Jennifer Kent took her 8 minute short film and rewrote it into a 100 minute movie with the same story.
