Looks like Amazon.fr is shipping to the US again

I've been wanting to buy a couple of titles from Amazon France since before the pandemic, but I kept putting off buying them. Ever since it started I've gotten a notice in red on each item page, above the price, saying that they wouldn't ship to my location in the US.

Just wanted to let everyone know, they seem to be shipping to the US again, as long as it's an item sold directly by them.

However, when I went through the purchase process, I discovered on the final step that they are only shipping with 2-day courier, so shipping for my $17 BD was going to be something like $45.

Needless to say, I didn't complete the purchase.

As I understand it, France is returning to something approaching normal, because they have the pandemic under control in a way we don't here in the US.

Hopefully Amazon.fr will begin shipping with normal post/mail again soon.

Amazon Germany is also starting to ship some blu-rays to the US but shipping is outrageous right now.

Just for comparison, shipping for a BD from Germany, France or UK was usually about $5 with regular mail/post before the pandemic.
