Sony will be releasing La Femme Nikita (1990) on 4K UHD on June 11th! Like many other Sony releases, it'll only be released as a Steelbook at launch.

Cover crops too much, including heels, but it's a "steel"-book, so crappy by default.

The Sony Pictures Classics 30th Anniversary set was also 4k discs only. So not the first time.

Hopefully it's not going to become the norm, but Sony does such a beautiful job with their 4k UHDs, I'm happy to pick up anything they put out

I hope it does become the norm. Three of the discs in my Columbia Vol. 4 were not in their trays when I opened the cases. I'm sure the additional discs add enough vibrations that they fall out. Have no use for them.

Because they were stacked which 2 disc releases never are.
I seriously don't understand anyone cheering on 4K releases where a regular Blu-ray get's dropped. Unless you like to pay the same for less.
Cause the price sure ain't gonna drop because of it.

The only stacked discs in that boxset were Starman. Those were still in their trays. The ones that had come out were Sleepless in Seattle, Kramer vs. Kramer and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. Two trays with one disc in each.

UHD has more than enough space for the movie and special features most of the time. I have no use for the Blu-rays. Price may be the same for us, but it's a little less for the publisher, another reason to stay in the business longer if the people who still want the BDs don't make up that difference.
