Default what is a movie you first watched because you were browsing a video store and the VHS

the VHS/DVD cover caught your eye which caused you to pick it up and read the back description? Post a pic of it if you can

for me for what I remember it was this VHS of The Last Starfighter at my local library

and this DVD of this Sci Fi Channel movie called Epoch from Family Video

I saw a good deal of covers that intrigued me but never could rent them because of a certain adult guardian being the final voice in what I could watch.

But when I was older and able to rent on my own I think Ghost in the Shell was one of the earliest I saw first from just browsing.

I think the glowing review by Siskel and Ebert that made me pick it up........ or maybe it was the boobs, one of the two I can't remember.

The earliest VHS box I can remember catching my eye was The Stuff. I rented it a couple years later, and of course it didn't live up to what was in my mind. I've grown to appreciate it, though.

I can't post a picture but you can see it here: https://www.amazon.com/Stuff-VHS-Mic.../dp/6302316332
