Was watching "Only Angels Have Wings" on TCM this morning and afterwards Ben Mankiewicz announced that TCM Vault will be releasing the 4k remaster on blu-ray. He even had a copy of it in his hands. I couldn't find anything on the TCM website but I found this:

More Cary Grant on Bluray is always welcomed.
Do the TCM BLurays usually include subtitles?

Definitely one of my more wanted titles. Was hoping Criterion would release it, but glad to see it coming. Hopefully, TCM has learned how to handle a blu-ray release after The Lady from Shanghai snafus.

Of the two blu-ray titles TCM has released so far, one had subtitles (Iron Petticoat) and one did not (Lady from Shanghai). What they plan to do for this one or the upcoming Remember the Night is anyone's guess...

probably my third or fourth favorite Hawks film

, depending on how you look at it

1. The Thing from Another World

2. Rio Bravo
3. The Big Sleep
4. Only Angels Have Wings

I can't help but consider The Thing a Hawks film , although , technically it's not

Rita Hayworth, Grant and those cool special effects - I can't wait

they do a pre-authorization for the order amount. The discharge will go away within a few days. you won't actually be charged until your order ships

if at all possible someone should change the release date in the thread title

The tracking # provided isn't up yet though.
