Maybe to Eastern Condors. I have a new theory that the Fortune Star 2:35.1 aspect ratio blurays are better or seem less visually faulty than the 1.85:1 ones!

Exactly. Actually, with any blu-ray, I think the 1:85.1 movies have more pressure! I have always been less critical of 2:35.1 films with fair to poor video quality because the top and bottom black bars make the film look better and more epic!

on an interesting note....dddhouse lists a runtime for Eastern Condors as 108! where as the recent remastered dvd was 98. I wonder if it's a typo or we'll get to see a more full version of this, including the prison scenes!

i wonder if they will use the same master as the Hong Kong legends one though, that had a few extra scenes that I had never seen before, even in the HK vcd version

HKL used the FS HD master so its gonna be the exact same cut. I like those covers. EC looks almost identical to my ancient Universe DVD!

I think my personal embargo in not buying hk blu-rays till i went back there is going to have to end, but there are so many great catalogue films out now, there are at least 15 i want to get from dddhouse

Two of my favourite HK action films. Hope they are true HD and the soundtracks are not messed up with new added foley effects...

As long as people keep buying these sub par discs the longer they will release them, dont waste your money, get the HK Legends dvd instead.
