This doesn't look half bad.

Bought this on VUDU and thought it was great. Will definitely pick it up on blu. Hope it has some good special features.

Best horror film I've seen this year. Kinda like Mulholland Drive meets last year's Contracted (which was a Cronenberg-esque body-horror freakout)... mixed with a dash of '60s/'70s Polanski. Alexandra Essoe's performance is stunning.

Can't wait to get this one on Blu, but it's on the VOD outlets now if anyone wants to rent before buying: http://starryeyesfilm.com/where-to-watch

This had an intriguing set up and then didn't do anything interesting with it. As a satire on ambition it was flat footed and just when you think this may turn into an intriguing Rosemary's Baby style conspiracy, it turns into a bog-standard
[Show spoiler]slasher
. The film tells you where it will go about 20 minutes in and then it monotonously plods along towards a predictable end.

I liked the Drive-style retro electronica score and that's about it.

I've been wanting to see this after the teaser came out. Looks like a gory Mulholland Drive.

I agree with this, thought it was superb. Saw it back at the Frightfest, but was just popping in to see if there was any news on the blu.

Thumbs up

Just watched and really liked it. Yes it does turn into a standard slasher movie but I like slashers so I don't really mind. The lead girl did a really good job and the score was very cool.

8/10 (B+)

Fantastic film, easily my favorite horror of the year. Also, props for it's underlying commentary on the elites' hold in Hollywood/Project Monarch, etc. Will definitely pick up the Blu.

I have been dying to see this and What We Do in the Shadows since those are the two I have heard mostly positive things about, but didn't get to see all year.

Just saw this last night and I freakin loved it. If you mixed the fly, Mulholland Drive, and Rosemarry's baby with a dash of really ugly 70's style grindhouse violence this is what you would get. It had a excellent retro synth score as well similar to the Maniac remake. The movie Definitely kept me on my toes as for most of the movie I really had no idea where the story was going which was great. Day 1 for sure.

Great little movie. I really liked the slow burn approach. This movie made me feel very uneasy and the horror doesn't even really start until you're already 60+ minutes into the film! Great acting, especially from Alex. Very nice retro score and some pretty innovative cinematography too. Damn, that movie was brutal at the end. This is such a little gem. Can't wait to own a physical copy of this movie. At least 8/10.

I was disappointed (but not really surprised) to see that Best Buy did not stock this. I saw a bunch of other horror flicks on the new release rack that looked dreadful. Why not carry this one?

Germany is getting a beefed up collector's edition. I really want to double dip.

I'd be more excited if the additional discs contained extras, but it looks like they're just a DVD and the soundtrack. I really liked the movie, but I don't recall the soundtrack being anything special. I think I'll just pick up the U.S. release once the price comes down a bit.

I'm waiting for this to hit ~$15. I really dug this film though. I liked it more than babadook, which seems to be most people's favourite horror film from last year.
