United Kingdom And Then There Were None (BBC drama mini-series)

A three-part TV adaptation of the Agatha Christie book And Then There Were None started on BBC One on Boxing Day, and concludes tonight. Enjoying it so far.

It's being released on DVD-only in the UK by label Acorn Media. Hopefully it gets a Blu-ray release in the US.

Was very pleased with how the mini-series ended. Although I felt the killer's motive was unoriginal, it was still a satisfying conclusion. I couldn't remember who the killer was, but I had an inkling who it was (thinking back to when I saw an amateur dramatic play of And Then There Were None a few years ago).

I did think the foul language was unnecessary in the last two parts.

Looking forward to catching this when/if it airs in America. If not hopefully we at least get a DVD/BD release.

Great news! Do you have link for this?

I've just started watching the DVD but, having viewed it in HD over Christmas, I really want this on blu ray!

There's a new adaptation of an Agatha Christie novel starting on BBC One next Monday night (Boxing Day), Witness for the Prosecution. The two-part adaptation concludes next Tuesday night.

Since And Then There Were None, there have been (I think) two further adaptations of Agatha Christie novels on BBC One (one starring Toby Jones and the other (which aired earlier last year, around Easter time) starring Bill Nighy). A new two-part adaptation, of an Agatha Christie novel called The Pale Horse starring Rufus Sewell starts this coming Sunday night on BBC One at 9 pm.

United Kingdom Agatha Christie's Why Didn't They Ask Evans?

A new TV adaptation of an Agatha Christie book/novel (a three-parter) called Why Didn't They Ask Evans? (written and directed by Hugh Laurie) begins on ITV1 on Easter Sunday (9th April), continuing on Easter Monday (10th April), concluding a week today (Tuesday 11th April), all three parts airing at 9 pm - 10 pm.

I had several months ago about this new adaptation (likely in TV & Satellite Week, a preview which said Hugh Laurie was directing it).
